Tubing!

Things have been going great. I love the starting of new years. Mostly for the new adventures it bring. And being able to look back and see all the blessings we have received. Anyways since Jaxon has been doing so much more better we were finally able to take him outside to go sliding. He didn't say a word just kind of sat there but was so excited to just be outside. For those of you that didn't know we found out the he has asthma. So we have been having to give him breathing treatments and watching what kind of animals and smells he has been around. They say that at this age they can grow out of it so we are hopping for the best.

So a couple of days ago I went and put Jaxon down for a nap, I couple minutes later I watched him come out of his room, shut the door and say Mommy no nap. So I put him back in his crib and sat in his room with him and found out that he could now get out of his crib. So Chris was nice enough to fixs his crib. So now he has a big boy bed and is loving it. The first night he had a hard time getting to sleep but once he feel asleep he did great! I can't believe he is getting so big. He is sleeping in a big boy bed, and going potty on the potty! Time sure does fly. Anyways since that day Jaxon figured out how to climb out of his bed, he didn't get a nap. This is what happend when we set him down at the dinner table. It was so hard not to laugh but it was so cute. His head bobbed for about twenty minutes and then woke right up.

The Past Couple Of Months

Christmas came so fast this year I still can't believe it is already over. This was the first year Jaxon was really able to interact with everyone and everything thing. For my mom's side Christmas party my Uncle was a great sport and dressed up as Santa, as you can see Jaxon did not want to have anything to do with him.
On Christmas Eve we were making cookes for Santa and Jaxon and his cousin Ty decided to help to and got into the flour. They were having so much fun, it was hard to get mad at them for throwing it all over the place and getting into.

Christmas day was so busy seeing family and friends and still trying to spend time as our little family. My Mom's brother and his family came into town for a couple of days, I was only able to see them once but still loved every minute of it. Jaxon LOVED opening presents, he would start opening them even if they were not his. My brother Sheldon took advantage of it by having Jaxon open all his presents. We told Sheldon he was lazy but Jaxon still did most of it for him.

Since Chris was able to have some time off. Which was much needed since he has been working six days a week. We took Jaxon to Cabelas, Ryan and Clinton came with us. Jaxon loved seeing all the animals but his favorite were the fish, he was so mad when we would go look at something else and started screaming for the fish.

I had to get a picture of our Chirstmas tree, even though we don't have a topper. I'm proud to say that I made the garlend that goes aroun the tree, it is cute and was so cheap to make! LOL

Jaxon is getting so big he is 21 months old. He talks so much and repeats every word we say! Getting into and onto everything is his favorite thing. Our goal right now is potty training he is loving it and is doing amazingly well with is.
Halloween was great we dressed and hung out with Chris sister and our neighbors. We took Jaxon to a trunk or treat and he still loves eating candy when he can get his hands on it.
I was having a hard time trying to figure out what to have him be for Halloween, I walked passed this shirt on clearance and it worked out pretty good I think.

Water FUN!

Jaxon loves bath time but we haven't been able to find bubbles that don't make his skin break out. But we finally found some and he loves it he never wants to get out of the tub.

Swimming after the dance recital. Jaxon loves playing in the water and loved going on all the water toys. He didn't want to get.

Fishing!

We finally took Jaxon fishing. He loved every moment of it, the water, liking the rocks and throwing the rocks into the water. We went with the Wolfley's and the Baileys it was so much fun and wonderful to get out of the house. No one could catch anything really at first but then as the sun started to go down tons of little fish started coming out that thats what they started catching.

Jaxon and Mommy hanging out watching daddy fish.

Chris and his little fish! WAH HOO!

Roy Days!

On August 1st Chris got to be in the Roy Days Parade with all of his siblings. He love doing is and we love watching him. This year was so much fun since Jaxon is talking and walking. He loved getting candy and watching all the floats come by. We sat with Chris's mom Sheri and her parents and Jaxon's cousin Wyatt and Ty. When some of the floats came by that were playing musice Jaxon and Wyatt would start dances in the middle of the street it was so much fun to watch them.

Right after the parade was over we met up with Chris and went to go walk through the booths. As soon at we got over there my brother called to tell me my mom had been rushed to the hospital again. That's another story! So we left and went and spent the rest of the day playing the in emergecny room with Jaxon and my dad. Jaxon was very entertaning to the people waiting there to.

4th of July

Things are going great! There is so much I need to catch up on so lets see what I can remember. HAHA! On the 4th of July we had tons of fun. In the morning we went hiking with my family up Mt. Ogden it was so cold though. I was quick to learn that I was way out of shape. Chris was great along with my dad and carried Jaxon up the whole way since he would not stay in his carrier. Since is got so cold, we need up stopping at the upper lodge at snow basin and ridding the gondola down.

My Uncle Philip and our Friend Bryce ridding down in the gondola!

My brother Clinton and Bryce didn't hike up they road the gondola up to the top to meet us!

Chris happy to be inside and sitting on a nice chair.

Later that night with Chris's family and some neighbors we had dinner and did fireworks. Jaxon loves watching all the bright colors. We even had some glow in the dark balls the boys could play with.

Opps I did it again!

Things are going great I don't think they could be any better! We finally cut Jaxons hair for the first time it did not look very long but it was curling up around his ears so it I had to cut it. More hair came off then I thought would but he did not like it at all. We put him in the shower and just buzzed it. But it has already started growing back, he looks more like his dad now!

The Before

The After

As you can see he was not very happy but if you look really hard you can see the hair around the drain, and yes I had to save some of it! Jaxon has tons of teeth and is still cutting more. I think he is up to 13 and still going, but I love it because he can eat almost anything. Back on May 4 he had surgery and got tubes in his ears. We were really nerves, everything went great though. Every since then he is talking lots more, I thought he talked lots before but now it is never ending!!!    We went shopping on a Saturday a while back and we where in the front of the store we heard a big bang and saw stuff going everywhere Chris went out to see what was going on and saw this. A man had a cesiure and drove right into the builid. Chris was great to go out and help while everyone else stood around he was moving things to they could get to the guy to pull him out.

Know that the weather has been great we have been trying so hard to get out more. Jaxon loves  every minute of it and hates when he has to get back into the car.

Chris is doing great his last day at Utility Trailer is tomorrow and he starts his new job at Hill Air Force Base as a Sheet Metal Mechanic the following Monday. I'm so proud of him and the he is so great to let me stay home with our son! I know starting a new job is hard especially when you get to go back to school but it will be well worth it.
